Dr. Muhammad Awais is an accomplished Associate Professor at the Henan International Joint Laboratory of Laser Technology, Henan Agricultural University, China. His interdisciplinary research bridges laser photonics, artificial intelligence, nanobiotechnology, and sustainable agriculture, focusing on precision environmental monitoring and agri-photonics. He has pioneered innovations in surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), dielectric sensing, and AI-driven soil and crop analysis systems for smart agriculture. Dr. Awais earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Pir Meher Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Pakistan, with a fellowship at the Technical University of Denmark, where he developed novel photocatalytic biomass pretreatment techniques for renewable bioenergy. His recent research integrates laser-assisted sensing and machine learning for soil health and non-point source pollution assessment. Author of over 70 SCI-indexed publications in Q1 journals, he also serves on international editorial boards and contributes as a reviewer to leading scientific journals, advancing global research in agri-photonics and environmental sustainability.
